2009年3月21日晚，”飞越长城”中国新音乐节在伦敦芭比肯表演中心（Barbican Center）开幕。演出第一天，著名作曲家，指挥，谭盾协同BBC交响乐团为大家献上了一场中国古典新音乐盛宴。演出当晚谭盾还请来了合作20年已久的国际知名大提琴家安西卡杜拿（Annsi Karttunen）同台演出。当晚的演出高潮应该算是苗族姑娘龙仙娥的民歌演唱了。伦敦华语记者姜科亮在演出之后对谭盾，安西卡杜拿和龙仙娥进行了采访。

Chinese New Music “Beyond the Wall” Festival opened on 21st March with a concert in London Barbican Centre . Tan Dun, Annsi Karttunen together with BBC Symphony Orchestra offered a feast of Chinese New Classical Music. World renowned composer and conductor Tan Dun alongside cellist Annsi Karttunen gave a modern intepretation of classical Chinese Music. Folk singer Xiane Long sang crowned the evening with a performance of 3 folk songs from Hunan Province. Ryan Jiang interviewed Tan Dun, Annsi Karttunen and Xiane Long.
